Flowers - we all love them. And there is more to flowers than just being pretty. What is beyond the pretty surface? Flowers also have their own soul. In my images I try to capture the soul of the flowers I come in contact with. I see my images as flower portraits. Just like with humans, a good portrait conveys something more than surface appearance. Some of the flower subjects in this gallery were found in the garden at my residence; others I came across in public gardens. I will keep adding flower portraits to this gallery over time - welcome back to see more!
