I admit to having a sometimes indulgent preoccupation with walls, doors and windows. I have tried to keep my habit in check but I usually give in to their charm and graphic potential. Walls evoke a sense of terra firma, a resting place, while doors and windows invite movement. I always think of them as portals into other worlds I know nothing about... I admire the beauty of everyday objects as functional works of art.
