This gallery is specifically oriented to illustrations of stories, either by known authors such as C.S. Lewis (one of my faves), folk lore and fairy tales, or some story that was brewing in my own imagination. For this reason, they often have a person in them as the protagonist. I have a special interest in children, and some of these artworks are especially for them. Most of these, though, will speak to adults in particular, but all of my artwork is considered "safe" for any age.
The images in this gallery are composites of different photos put together in a digital collage, cut-and-paste fashion. Often, I use paint effects and textural overlays to help blend the varying images together into a harmonious whole. These composites are extremely time-consuming and demand meticulous attention to detail. I work at the highest file size that I can. That way, the art may be printed large so that all the intricate and meaningful details will be visible and enjoyable without a magnifying glass!
