I am a Christian Mystic Quaker with a very open, ecumenical attitude. I think of most of my work as spiritual, but many of these pieces are overtly so. A number of the pieces shown here come out of silent meditations. I usually spend at least 11 days per year on silent retreats and would love to increase that number to 40 or so. While other kids were dreaming of being superheroes, I was dreaming of being a religious hermit. Although silence feels natural to me, I can also be a complete chatterbox - as many friends can attest to!
