Her work tends to be infused with color and the interplay of light and shadow on everyday scenes. Corrine paints her watercolors by mixing colors on the paper instead of the palette and from the stance of "laying it down once and hoping it's right"! She credits this approach and the insistence on using only clean water for the much admired brilliance and clarity of her watercolors. With other mediums she enjoys painting in layers and thinking in terms of how the composition of colors will work in the final product.
