Movement is very important to me in my work. I am in love with the textures of the paint and the rhythm of the brush strokes as I apply it. Most of my paintings are impasto, because of its tactile quality. I believe that texture is the most ubiquitous level of form, the underpinning for all "forms" on the macro level. Children love my bright colors and energetic forms. Many of my works are therefore perfect for corporate or institutional spaces that deal with children's needs, like schools, hospitals, and amusement parks.
