I was honored to have Hillside Winery (http://hillsidewine.com) located in Sevierville, Tennessee, use some of my butterfly photos for the labels of their wine bottles. The HillsideWine gallery is a collection of the butterfly photos that were used to create the labels for the wine bottles. All butterfly photos were taken in and native to Tennessee, USA, which complements the winemaker's Tennessee wines! Below is a list of the wines and the name of the butterfly that is pictured on the label. DRY WINES: Gulf Fritillary Butterfly on the Sangiovese label; Variegated Fritillary Butterfly on the Zinfandel label; Spicebush Swallowtail Butterfly on the Pinot Grigio label; SEMI-SWEET WINES: Eastern Tiger Swallowtail Butterfly on the Raspberry Blush label; Black Swallowtail Butterfly on the Don Rosso label; SWEET WINES: Painted Lady Butterfly on the Cantina Bianco label; Monarch Butterfly on the Vino Rosso label; (Wine not in production, yet --Black and Blue); SPARKLING WINES: Red Spotted Purple Butterfly on the Sonata label; Great Spangled Fritillary Butterfly on the Hillside Spumante label; (Wine not in production, yet --Raspberry Frizzante); (Wine not in production, yet --Muscadine Frizzante); AND....
