I almost cannot think of a more relaxing hobby than "fractalizing": take an obtuse looking sequence of numbers and symbols, known as a mathematical equation, punch it into a program like Xaos, and presto! Here come the most amazing, colorful concoctions of geometric shapes. What I want to know is this: why couldn't we have done this in High School, instead of all that boring math?
