Manipulated negative images create some interesting patterns and designs. Something new to experiment with. The negative brings a completely different viewpoint to the photograph. We are not caught up in looking at realistic things that we recognize - our mind stops a minute and attempts to put what it is seeing into a category it can understand. In those few moments, we often come to understandings about the landscape that would not have occurred to us otherwise.
