Open Edition Giclée Prints.
These images are from a series I created after a visit to Newport Beach, CA, hence the name “NB” for the series. In my mind, there are bits of seascape, landscape and buildings in the images, as well as sailboats, trees and weather.
I paint with acrylic and watercolor paints on watercolor papers, some that have leaves embedded in the pulp, and use torn pieces of rice paper to add shapes and layering. I scan the piece to a computer where I modify the image and make it ready for reproduction.
