This painting was inspired by the classic story of Adam & Eve, but with a twist. In this version, once the apple was bitten into, there was no complete sorrow to usher in the end of days. This painting represents the beauty within humankind; having that spiritual connection with freedom, knowledge, change, love, pain and the ability to accept life for what it is. Adam has more of that deep, dark aura because he does not only represent Adam, but also represents the snake that convinced Eve to take that chance and indulge in the knowledge of Life (Good & Evil). Even though it was impossible to foresee evil, they were willing to struggle for the beauty of tranquility, which would not be acknowledged without evil (In order to appreciate & feel pleasure we have to understand and feel pain). After the sorrow passes, Eve dances freely as she basks within the peace. There is one Adam for every Eve, and one Eve for every Adam.
