Recent events in Israel (where I was born,raised and reside) have led me to much soul searching. The "For the Boys" pinup is indeed one that I conjured up. Some of you have noticed that it has disappeared from The Pinup Shop. I was uneasy with it, when I had created it, a month ago, and rethinking the situation: I just can’t have it in my shop anymore.
Being an artist, however, I do think it important to make a statement. And being that my work is featured publicly, I do think it important that I should take full responsibility for my actions. So my past and present meet in this piece: The original version of the pinup, graffitied over.
Activism is new to me and was catalyzed by these attacks on Gaza. This is the first political piece I've ever done and I hope this gallery grows in time.
