I was sitting in my local cafe, when the barista, offered to loan me his brother's digital camera. I'd been saying how I'd love to do a photo each day of the statue of the girl with the urn in the restaurant's garden. The beginning of a fatal love affair with the image and the digital camera! I've started to play with many of the digital images - I've enjoyed doing so as it's given me the freedom to explore aspects of change and how it reveals itself to me . At the same time I began to scan both old and new paintings and drawings into my computer. I've always loved the visual arts. The human face especially intrigues me - it's natural beauty along with artifice displayed through portraiture, film & fashion.
