Lately I've taken to photographing things that don't blow around in the breeze. Namely, plants and plant related things that no longer live life as we call it. When things hold very still like that I can look at them endlessly and very intimately. I'm so often amazed and taken in by textures and lines and swirls and patterns that I can't help but want to photograph them. So I do. And seeing things on this level adds one more level to the meaning of life.
