The unique patterns and forms found in nature are an inspiration. There is perfection in the symmetry of a Toucan's beak, the plumage of a parrot or the bulbous, translucent form of a jelly fish stranded on the beach. And there's beauty in leaves that turn into a light show in the breeze, with the changing patterns of light in the foliage and the shifting intensity of color.
My approach to photographing nature is to emphasize pattern, texture, color and form. I want to engage the viewer to take a closer look and connect; to take in the beauty and wonder.
