When is a photograph not a photograph? When it's been manipulated (morphed?) into something else. At least, as I see it. After taking my photos, the only touching up I do with the images as "photographs" involves nothing more or less than what might take place in the dark room if I were using film. Set the color balance, get rid of any "noise" or "dropped pixels" and leave it alone. My computer becomes my darkroom. I love taking photographs. I equally love to play around with them and see how far I can push them into new creations. Anything in this gallery--or others like it that I may put up--will be obvious manipulations. I won't try to fool you about a "photograph" as opposed to a photographic manipulation. Please enjoy--and leave a comment or two if you have any questions or suggestions. Thanks!
