Welcome to RD Riccoboni's American Gallery. You'll find art here created by Riccoboni, gathered from his travels around the United States. When visiting San Diego California be sure to visit Beacon Artwoks Gallery collection in Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. The Gallery contains paintings by California artist RD Riccoboni created during 2005 through 2009. His scenes depict historic colonial, Victorian and modern architecture in San Diego, the birthplace of California - Old Town, San Diego is featured here, as well as the first mission and colonial building in the western United States, Mission San Diego De Alcala. Visit the Spanish Colonial fantasy of Balboa Park, the historic Gaslamp district, Little Italy, Point Loma, La Jolla and Coronado Island. This collection takes you on a colorful tour through art of America’s finest city. riccoboni, the art traveler, says, I love and appreciate both new and old San Diego, along with the California history that surrounds these settings. I first went out in search of old homes to paint, and soon realized there was so much more beauty in the overall experience of the city. I continue go out in search of special places around San Diego County and recreate in art a mix of everyday activity in neighborhood street scenes, all in bold color.
