This gallery includes a collection of original characters, landscapes and curiosities. Many ideas are inspired by literature, music and experiences in nature and are formed as I draw them from my imagination. The variety of plants and animals that inhabit our planet is a huge source of my inspiration to create my own cryptids and anthropomorphic characters. Children have an intense fascination with animals and adults carry a sense of wonderment throughout their lives identifying with nature. Fairy tales and picture books thrive on painterly images to engage the reader in the book and help shape a visual understanding. Mass-produced illustrations are closed in books, but my habit is to tear them out and tape them to my wall.
