Description Old gears from the mill at West Point on The Eno in Durham, NC.Some info on West Point on The Eno:In 1780, shorthly after Synott’s death, William Thetford and Charles Abercrombie bought the adjacent tract downstream and built a mill on the site we know as West Point Mill, possibly because the excellent ford immediately next to the site and a new road leading both north and south from it made that a more advan-tageous location.Links:http://www.trailsofnc.com/west_point_eno_park/http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/West_Point_on_the_Enohttp://www.enoriver.org/what-we-protect/parks/w...;http://www.enoriver.org/store/journals/story/
Julie Conway, East Dublin Member Since December 2011 Artist Statement SA Photo & Graphic Design began in late 2007 just under the photographer's personal name, Julie Conway Photography. In Early 2009 it became Sanguine Addiction Photography & Graphic Design, then was shortened towards the end of 2009 to SA Photo & Graphic Design. Work can be found under both of the 2009 names as they are both used to the present date.
The main focus of most fine art prints by SA Photo is nature, abandonments & reclamation, country life, motorsports, and body modification photography. SA Photo also offers a wide range of other areas of photography as well.
In the past year people photography has been added to the list of genres offered (thanks to my favorite model Danni Dover). I've recently developed a love of shooting people, whether it be an individual, a couple, a pregnancy shoot, a family recreational shoot, and more. The only problem is, I love editing photos so much there is rarely less than 3 finished versions of each photo...it's stress relief to me :) But of course, the more edits there are, the harder it becomes for me to pick a favorite for portfolio purposes. I've started going with which ever the client picks as their favorite to be my choice for my portfolio.
Most all of SA Photo's art work can be purchased through RedBubble or Deviant Art by following the links above to browse the galleries along with a select few that are available through this website.
SA Photo does accept orders for commissioned work throughout the year.
