Description The girl who was the inspiration for my Girl With a Hair Dryer series was the same girl who inspired Female Figure 2 and Female Figure 4 (available in my Imagekind painting gallery). As with many of my paintings, Girl With a Hair Dryer 2, a marker drawing, features a stylized female form with a strong, Fauvist use of bold color. Stylization, allure, composition, and design are a major part of my work. Major influences on my work include Andre Derain, Paul Gauguin, Henri Matisse, Tom Wesselmann, Vincent Van Gogh, Ryu Young Do, Geoffrey Humphries, John Piper, John Sidman, Pablo Picasso, and Gustav Klimt. Girl With a Hair Dryer 2 in its original is a marker drawing 6.5 inches x 10 inches.
