Golden Breasts This piece, a digital creation, is the result of the manipulation of mathematical formulae and its emergence was a complete surprise. As the form took shape, the formulas were adjusted as best as possible until the final effect was achieved. It was then necessary to take the result and produce something artistic from it as the original construct lacked the proper visual appeal.
I love the textures and color of this work. There is very little about the piece that is anatomically correct, nor does any of the image look like skin or tissue. Yet the human mind, working as it does, recognizes female breasts in the artwork.
One of the reasons that I love the art that I create is that, although it can be very time consuming and difficult to achieve results such as you see in this work, I seldom know where my art will lead me and the path is full of pleasant and unexpected surprises.

Creating art is - for me - a true give and take between what I attempt to do and what the evolving piece makes me do. Often, when I try to push the art in one direction, it responds differently and makes me take it in another. The art itself surprises me, and it directs me into the area it wants to be taken, rather than accepting what I try to make it do. And so I let myself go and the art takes over and the evolution excites, surprises and amazes me. I love it!
