Artist Statement As a grade level student, my dream was to be an artist. Art was one of
my electives from the 7th grade until the 11th grade. Years later, I
even went as far as taking an Art Appreciation Course and a Painting
Course at Delgado Community College of New Orleans, LA. Growing up and
being a country boy from Mississippi, I thought that the opportunity of
becoming a successful artist as an occupation wasn't likely. Throughout
the years, I've created art on my own. I met an Artist/Framer who
became my mentor who showed me sides of Art that I never saw such as the
networking, the shows, the originality, and the professionalism of what
ever you do. The Lord gave me a vision and He said "This thing you
wished professional to call will come to life" and it will enlighten
visions of people from their own perspectives.

I see my art as a magnet to socializing and the
revelation of feelings. I have the utmost respect for art which
classifies it as distinguished.
Distinguished Protocol will allow people to feel better as well as
express their feelings to others and it will give me the opportunity to
spread my love for art over the world.
