Artist Statement Lori Labrie received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Painting, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Rhode College in 1982. She later received a Certificate in Scientific and Technical Illustration from RISD in 1991. She worked as a graphic artist in the packaging and printing industry for fifteen years and taught art to children in a Montessori School in Providence. She currently works as a product designer and illustrator in the giftware industry. Throughout all of this time she continued to pursue her love for painting. She is an exhibiting artist member of the Providence Art Club. Her work is in private collections as well as exhibited in local galleries and juried shows.
