Description Sometimes called the Williamstown Ferry, the Newport ferry carried vehicles between Newport and Port Melbourne prior to the West Gate Bridge being built. It stopped running in 1974. TheNewport Power Station can be seen in the background.+
Neville Prosser, Macleay Island Queensland Member Since February 2010 Artist Statement Neville has been a professional photographer for most of his working life. He holds a degree in photography from RMIT. Although he spent many years working for government organisations in Australia, including 20 years with CSIRO, for the last 20 years he has run his own business as a professional photographer, Art Gallery curator, picture framer and retailer. Over that time he has taken many images of his own choosing and now thanks to Imagekind is willing to share them with the people of the world.
