Description A leatherback turtle makes her way back to the sea after laying her eggs. Leatherbacks lay along the north and east coast of Trinidad, where conservation efforts have increased their numbers significantly, but natural predators and the fishing industry remain a problem...
Sarita Rampersad, Trinidad & Tobago Member Since May 2010 Artist Statement I'm available to do any type of photography, but I love being on location! I'm comfortable shooting in (and hanging out of) helicopters, small aeroplanes, perched on 2x4 pieces of wood in stifling silos (did I mention the grime?) while being struck by hot welding sparks, or lying down on sharp gravel waiting for models to do their thing on the catwalk.
I also love photography for photography's sake. I try to capture moments that I consider fleeting and too brief, and that I think I would like to show people years from now of 'how it used to be'...
Many of the photos on my sites were taken throughout Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, St. Vincent & The Grenadines, St. Maarten, Barbados and Maui, Hawaii. I'm an easy traveler and am always looking for more countries to add to my portfolio.
The albums you'll see contain samples of my work - some are not as extensive because of confidentiality reasons, but what can be shown is - and I've tried to cover a range of work from heavy industry to heavily processed.
If you're interested in any pieces, would like to see others, or arrange for photography to be done of something specific, please feel free to contact me via my website @ www.sarabayphotography.com. I'm available to work anywhere in the world and to shoot anything.
You can also browse both my website and my gallery @ http://sarabay-photography.artistwebsites.com, (images are available in their unedited versions as stock).
If you just want to comment on something or there's something you want to find out more about, drop me a line - I'd love to hear from you!
