Description This large and unwieldy bird is one of the most primitive bird species on the planet, with claws on its wing joints. It's nickname is 'stinky bird' because the meat is no good for eating. It was photographed here in the Cuyabeno Reserve in the Amazon rainforest, Ecuador.
