Description A little further up the Hoh River trail (about seven miles, I believe) in Olympic National Park. As one winds further and further into the interior of the mountains, the forest becomes increasingly primeval and mystical. It's easy to see how ancient peoples in the area were drawn to shamanism after spending time here.
