Hendrika M, usa Member Since January 2008 Artist Statement Although I have always been an artist, my passion for my map work stems from the love for my children who are adopted from Asia, and my desire to provide them with with a beautiful representation of a map of their birth country. From there my project has grown as I continue to draw maps of all of China's provinces and other countries for other families to share with their children as well and provide them with a visual connection to their homeland. I'm now adding even more countries to my list and will be adding designs as I complete them.
