Description This is a detailed section of a painting I did on canvas with acrylic, pastel, and ink. Though the painting is not completely finished, I find that this section in itself can be considered a separate painting. The full title of the painting is 'If my Thought Dreams Could be Seen, They'd Probably Put my Head in a Guillotine', which is a line from a Bob Dylan song. The painting is 5ft x 6ft and it portrays a statement on the treatment of women in modern society and how their outward appearance is valued more than their thoughts and opinions.
