Karen Neal, Marlborough Member Since April 2011 Artist Statement Hi, welcome to my artwork, and thank you for taking time to view my paintings :-)
I’ve always had a love of art, animals and wildlife, nature and travel. My passion for art is wildlife and pet portraits, although I also love to draw & paint portraits of people and the occasional landscape. I’m a self-taught artist, living in working in beautiful Marlborough in the South Island of New Zealand. I work in pastel, graphite & acrylics, and strive for detail and trueism of in my animal paintings.
I’m committed to supporting animal and conservation causes through my art, and each original painting sale will have a percentage donated to a wildlife or conservation cause.
