Artist Statement Giovanni Sánchez, a young artist and graphic designer based in Orlando, FL, was born in the beautiful country of Venezuela. He moved to the United States in 2006 to pursue an education in the artistic field. Getting a Valedicatorian and a Perfect Attendance award, he graduated from Full Sail University in September of 2009 where he got a Bachelor of Science degree in Digital Arts and Design.

His work varies from Illustrations, Photography, Digital Art pieces, to Mixed media, and as a young artist he is not affraid to try different mediums and approaches to express himself graphically. He says that nature is his biggest influence, stating that by just looking anywhere around us we can find even the smallest thing to be a huge inspiration for any piece we might create. Added to that, he feels that artists such as Joan Miró, Salvador Dalí, and Yves Tanguy, play a great role as an inspiration for what he does.

Some of his art pieces have been displayed in the Full Sail Student Art Gallery more than once, being a great opportunity for him to expose his work.

Currently, Giovanni is complementing his professional training with photography studies that along with graphic design keep developing his artistic passion.
