Julie Borden, Rehoboth Beach Member Since November 2012 Artist Statement Everyday you're not working, someone who wants it more..is...and that's why I am always painting and creating. I really love what I do. One day you might find me painting a cello,and the next day a canvas and then later that week, creating a set of art-inspired dinnerware. I simply live and love the journey and the process of all of it.
A master of color and creating astounding combinations, is one of Julie Borden’s trademarks of her artwork and gallery, Juleez. Fine art galleries, public art venues, corporations and art collectors have discovered her talents even before earning her BFA from the renowned, The Rochester Institute of Technology.
Borden’s work was featured at Animation USA Gallery during their “Popular Culture Artists of The 20th Century” show, along with such Pop Art Icons such as Andy Warhol, Peter Max and Burton Morris. Borden has exhibited at highly regarded shows such as Art Expo New York, Buyers Market of American Craft, the Boston, Dallas, NY and Atlanta Gift Shows as well as local and regional shows. She also currently owns the art gallery, Juleez in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware.
Borden has exhibited at the annual Night Of 100 Stars, Oscar Party Gala, taking place at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Sunset Boulevard in Beverly Hills, California.
Borden’s dynamic designs have led national and global companies to license artwork including Liss Global, Pacific Enterprise, Dayton Hudson Corp., Train Tree Inc., HerDoo’s, Amscan, and Season’s Catalog started Borden's art licensing sector of her career. Fabri-Quilt, C. R. Gibson, HerDoo’s, Lindy Bowman, Ball Corporation, Borders Unlimited and DecalGirl.
