Description The massive rock domes of Kata Tjuta National Park, Central Australia. It is easy to understand how this incredible rock formation took on such strong spiritual significance for the local Aborigine. Rising out of the flat, arid surrounding desert it is a breath taking landscape.
David Humphreys, Melbourne Member Since June 2007 Artist Statement Originally from the U.K., I relocated to the Southern Hemisphere in 1993. This beautiful, diverse and relatively strange new environment rekindled my interest in photography and the transfer to digital capture proved to be an added fillip.
I find photography the perfect excuse for getting outside and savouring the beauty of this world after a reasonably drastic change in lifestyle from rural to urban.
