Description This is less of a story about this painting and more of a story about this auction and what surrounds it. It goes a little like this: On Feb 16, 2008, the art gallery Studio 216 officially opens in Granbury TX. As the owner Steve puts it, 'It'll be chock Full-o-Keemo!' I have the great honor to be the first artist to show at Studio 216. (Through the middle of March) So, what does all that have to do with this painting? Well, Steve, being the smart fella he is, thought it would be a great idea to have a painting at the gallery that people will be able to bid on. So, right next to this painting, at the gallery, will be a laptop that is open to this auction. If a visitor would like to the own this painting, well, they will have to place a bid, just like you. The opening reception will be from 3:00-5:00 and 7:00-9:00. The ending of this auction will be around closing time, 9:00 PM. This way all the attendees can monitor the progress of the auction through out the day. With that, here is to Steve and Kathy and Studio 216!... Enjoy! (Oh yeah, and to all hooligans from Granbury that sent pictures and notes convincing me to come down there! It worked.)
