Artist Statement I have enjoyed photography for many years. When I was young my parents were certified scuba divers and my dad started developing his own pictures from thier vacations and dives. That started my intrest in the hobby, in high school I took a couple photography classes using my dads old manual Pentax shooting black and whites of anything. A good many years later after taking a break from the hobby I got a new (at the time) Pentax PZ70. Its a pretty good camera, I shot some pictures with it but being a film camera I just don't use it anymore. I currently have a Sony V1 5MP camera. its a nice point and shoot style but has most the features as a DSLR including add on lenses. Its a shame that Sony had to stop making the camera.
So now a days I enjoy taking pictures of nature, landscapes, animals, pretty much anything that I feel will make a nice picture. I good photographer can take any scene and find the awsome picture. Some day I hope to be that photographer.
