Artist Statement Hi!

I don't paint - actually can't even draw a straight line - but I do represent artists, designers and photographers and I know what I like. I am an ex-advertising executive which, professionally speaking, makes me look at things from a commercial perspective, too. However, I normally work on gut feeling and my sixth sense when it comes to art - I find this approach works best for me. You can't promote something you don't like or understand. For example, I hate Damien Hurst and I can't understand what all the fuss is about . The world seems to be of a different opinion. There again, their are a lot of sheep in the world ...
This is my first visit to this excellent site and my aim is to promote the work of Norberto Civardi (1947- ) who is a mature painter with a totally original style.

I am from London but have lived in Italy for 30 years - I like the sunshine!
