Artist Statement Victoria’s fascination and love of color has been her lifelong playmate. Growing up on the west side of Michigan along the green glass waters of Lake Michigan with almond-color sand she loved exploring the outdoors and taking in the vibrant dance of light on water. She started early with watercolors and over the course of her painting career, she has moved from palate, medium, substrate, always venturing into new areas or ideas.

Victoria obtained her Bachelors in Health Systems Administration from Baker College in Muskegon, Michigan. She single-handily raised her three children while both attending college and working full time, all while maintaining her focus on art.

Having a love of travel and adventure, Victoria has traveled to Europe and Mexico, but most recently, drove across the United States twice in 2013 to move her son and daughter to California.

Since August 2013, Victoria has been exploring acyclic with mixed mediums and has created 25 new canvases. Her work includes additions of gold and silver, which provide both a modern or renaissance look to her works.

Victoria's currently resides and works in San Francisco.
