DescriptionMmmmm, the distinctive aroma of lavender, the essence of the south of France, cool sweet linen - what's not to love! Here's a beautiful and calming photographic print of a bunch of lavender in a pretty blue and white china jug sitting next to a blue and white ginger jar. The image has had some special Eyeshoot magic applied to it to make it look soft, textured and a little faded and antique.
Sarah Franklin, Manchester Member Since May 2007 Artist Statement I’ve always had cameras and always loved to take photographs. I’ve had a variety of beloved cameras for the last 30 years or so from my very first happy snappy to my first SLR, a Pracktika, my much loved Minolta to the tiny Minox 35mm which I have just rediscovered. Then came the digital revolution and my passion for photography really took off with my love affair with the tiny Pentax Optio which I carried around in an Altoids tin for about 2 years until I needed an update. Then I used a Nikon D70 and now use a Nikon D300. I also use a Holga, a beautiful Rolleicord which I am still puzzling over and a vintage Kodak Duaflex for my through the viewfinder images.
I have a big collection of photos on Flickr if you’d like to have a look there too, I can upload any image to Imagekind for framing so just let me know if there’s anything you want which isn’t here at the moment. I blog here http://eyeshootphotosandfood.blogspot.com
