Description This is a print of a watersoluble graphite drawing by Jeanne Rewa. Watersoluble graphite is a fun medium which involves drawing with special pencils, then blending the graphite with a wet brush. The result is the rich tones of graphite with the texture of watercolor. Original drawing size 8 x 10 inches. Jeanne Rewa Member Since November 2006 Artist Statement An avid horselover, possibly since birth, I have been drawing horses since I could first pick up a crayon. My artistic ability has increased alongside my knowledge of horse anatomy, motion, and character. I have worked with many types of horses, training, riding, and showing. I work primarily in graphite pencil, but also use watercolor pencils and have recently added Chinese watercolor to my media, after living in China for two years.
