Description This is a digital watercolor that I created from a photograph that I took recently while visiting Walter Scott near Goliad. He is well-known for his efforts to save the Texas Longhorns as a breed. This, I believe is a cross between a Longhorn and a Charolais (did I spell that right?). I love the calf peeking out from behind his Mom.
Linda Wolff, Victoria, Texas Member Since April 2008 Artist Statement My love is for all things "Texas" or "Texan." I am also an author. My book, "Indianola and Matagorda Island 1837-1887," was published by Eakin Press in 1999. Many of the images you will see in my gallery will be of Texas historical or cultural sites, and of our state's lovely wildflowers. I also have a flower garden that is another source for my digital watercolors.
I travel frequently, and have made recent trips to Paris and Provence (The Little Texas of France) and to locations in Germany.
