Description This piece was inspired by an art journal page by Pam Carriker, one of my favorite collage artists. As is customary with my work, this piece was unplanned - but the symbolism and meaning made themselves known.
Kerri Pestana, Cheyenne Member Since October 2009 Artist Statement I'm an amateur photographer and wannabe artist living in the Rocky Mountain area. I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember.
In digital art and photo manipulation, I have found a new respect for my computer and the endless possibilities it gives me with my photographs. To say that I'm addicted to digital creation is an understatement - I am constantly compelled to sit and make things come alive in a new and unusual manner and uncover worlds that one isn't likely to see in the everyday.
Nearly everything I create is completely unplanned. What you see was primarily done in one sitting, and without intention. I randomly open files, mash them together, and herein lies the final outcome.
