Description Pictured here are just a few Llamas/Alpacas grazing on Machu Picchu in the early morning. Llamas hold an important place in the mountains of Peru. They are used for their wool, meat, and of course for transportation. Llamas were also used for sacrifices in religious ceremonies and are considered critical to the success of the Inca Empire.
Andrea Brunson, Seattle Member Since October 2008 Artist Statement For many years I have dabbled in photography using my 35mm Minolta SLR camera. However, I have started taking digital photos and love my immediate results. Currently I purchased a Sony Digital SLR A200 camera. I was able to use it while I was in Peru this September 2008. I took some amazing photos of Machu Picchu and Peruvian locals. I posted them here on Imagekind and will also post on my website: www.andreabrunson.com
