Description Historic downtown Charleston in South Carolina has one of the highest concentrations of finely crafted iron fences and gates in the world. While most of the ironwork is of the wrought iron variety, there is also some amazing cast iron installed around the city. It was a great pleasure to live in Charleston while the old Market Hall (c. 1841) was being renovated, including the beautiful ornate cast iron balusters and railing on its faade. It was so cool to see the old cast iron come back to life up the double winding staircase entrance to the building, and it was even cooler to capture a fun composition.NOW AVAILABLE: 16'x24' MetalPrints in Limited Editions of 100 at http://PhotoRaconteur.storenvy.com
