Daniel Sin, Singapore Member Since March 2011 Artist Statement I started out with photography and taking images with the aim of capturing the moment. Gradually, I found myself immerse in pursue of artistic images rather than just be contented with capturing the moment.
Each day more land is being urbanized and deforestation has created a huge impact on the earth's ability to heal and regenerate itself. What I strive to achieve is to bring about awareness to care for mother earth we share living in.
Images of scenic places and beautiful monuments are reminder of humanity and nature in unison. By sharing my images with others, I hope to increase awareness in the protection of our environment.
Heritage, nature and human beings are inseparable. Without nature, there will be no mankind, and without mankind there will be no heritage. We must cherish, protect and conserve what we already have and be responsible to the planet we live in. The key would be striking a balance between human progression and nature, while maintaining a green planet for all to live in.
