Description Take a field filled with colorful blossoms, turn it into a tapestry-like panorama painting and you end up with this fascinating art. Graceful, muted, understated colors, and a hint of mystery make this an unforgettable image.
Rick Lawler, Oak Harbor, Washington Member Since December 2006 Artist Statement I enjoy sharing my home and environs through photography. Whidbey Island and the Pacific Northwest is so filled with stunning scenery and landscapes that it takes almost an act of will to take a bad photograph.
We are recent transplants to the area, and this has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for photography. Please join me in exploring my view of this place.
My photography and writing have won awards. I'm the author of "Whidbey: My Eye" a full-color photo book about Whidbey Island, Washington. I'm currently working on a second photo book.
