Description 2010 RC deWinter ~ All Rights Reserved_______________________________________________The year: 1468 The place: The Isle of Man_______________________________________________A sparsely-outfitted monk's cell contains little in the way of furniture or possessions. Most notable are the cross in front of the slit-fort window and the worn fresco on the wall next to the entryway. A lumpy-looking straw bed and a chest are the only other concessions to basic human habitation. Even the prie-dieu is bare wood, and there are no armrests provided._______________________________________________There is a great amount of detail in this painting, especially in the fresco and the cross, so it's best viewed as closely as possible._______________________________________________Digital oil painting based on a photograph shot on the Isle of Man by talented artist Constance Widen.
Hello and welcome to my portfolio; I hope the year is treating you gently.
I am a self-taught photographer and digital artist. I have been shooting photos for over 30 years and digitally painting them for nearly ten. Many pieces have been featured in both print and online journals, and five of my works were licensed by ABC-TV for use as set decor on the show "Desperate Housewives."
I am happy to paint on commission. For more information, please email: email@example.com If you enjoy my work, please spread the word, and thank you for stopping by.
