I am an oil painter, watercolorist, digital painter, graphic designer and hobby photographer. I am a Graphic Designer / Technical Writer / Desktop Publisher in the corporate business world. I also offer Seascape Watercolor and Computer Painting Workshops in the Katy Texas area. Painting - traditional and digital require technique, attention to detail, composition, perspective, experimentation and willingness to put passion into our work.

I was born and raised in Des Moines Iowa but moved to the Houston Texas area in 1989. Life to me is like a bramble tree or bush - full of a variety of thorns and harsh textures yet also the ultra smooth soft silky textures are all around us too. I do not think we could appreciate the marvels of nature or life without the harsh thorny realities threaded with the awe-inspiring glories of serenity.
