After spending over ten years in the corporate world, Ujwala Prabhu rediscovered her love for art. She has been drawing and painting in different media for over 4 years. During this period, she spent a year at the College of Art in New Delhi and a month at the Art Students’ League in New York.
Ujwala grew up in India and has subsequently lived in five different countries. She has always been fascinated by people and their spectrum of emotions. This interest in people is evident in her art, and finds expression through her figures and portraits. You can see more of her work on her blog Maya.
She now lives in Dhaka with her husband Ramesh. Her learning continues.
