My name is Robert Peate, and My Natural-Light Photographs has been providing the highest quality photographs since 1999. I specialize in capturing character, going deeper, creating a connection between viewer and subject.
I started drawing and painting when I was two, and taking photographs before I was ten. A lifelong visual artist, I was born with an eye for composition, line, color, and light value. While I favor portraits, I also shoot landscapes and still-lifes for personal pleasure and enlargement sales.
I realized early on that I preferred natural light in general, but not in all cases. There are definitely cases, like that of George Hurrell, when electric light can work wonders. Whether you choose natural or electric light, my goal will be to provide you with images you will treasure.
