I have no clue how this piece of plastic, glass and mirrors came to consume my life but I’ve enjoyed every minute of it. I love the fact that a photo freezes time while opening up the world up to what the human eye couldn’t see before. I still get a kick out of showing a photo to my parents and watching their reaction while they try to figure out that the picture is of. I don’t really concern myself with gear because I would much rather buy another guitar and I can’t imagine ever having $5,000 for a new camera body. A master carpenter is great at his trade regardless of his tools, I would like to think it’s the same with photography. That being said I shoot with Canon since I started learning with their products and I’m comfortable with their gear. People ask me what kind of photographer I am and I never have a straight answer, I don’t like being confined to genres but I would like to say I’m a good one. I don’t have goals or needs when it comes to photography, it’s given me more than I have ever given it. To me that’s the greatest relationship ever, what more can you ask for?
